Warner Bros. Games’ platform fighter, MultiVersus, is set to relaunch at the end of the month. When it returns, players will have access to a new single-player PvE mode called Rifts, where they can take the game’s diverse cast of characters on solo adventures.
In MultiVersus, players typically choose characters like Batman and LeBron James to engage in fun combat. However, with Rifts, players can focus on honing their skills, learning mechanics, and testing various characters in a single-player setting.
Narrated by Velma Dinkley from Scooby-Doo, Rifts will feature evolving missions and challenges, providing a dynamic experience beyond just a tutorial or introductory level.
The game initially debuted in early access in July 2022 and continued until June 2023. During this time, the developers, Player First Games, took feedback to refine and improve the game for its full release.
When is the MultiVersus launch date?
MultiVersus is scheduled to launch on May 28 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. The PC version will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
A recent trailer unveiled The Joker as a playable character, voiced by Mark Hamill. Fans also noticed hints that The Powerpuff Girls will join the game’s extensive roster, which features characters from Warner Bros.’ various shows, movies, and properties.
