Virginie Viard stays loyal to a certain rooster of creatives, when enlisting photographers for Chanel’s various different advertising campaigns. Since taking up the mantle as creative director in 2019, the French fashion designer has called upon the likes of Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Karim Sadli and Mikael Jansson. Viard calls upon Jansson once again with the unveiling of Chanel’s Pre-Fall 2024 campaign installment. Models Loli Bahia, Lulu Tenney and Alaato Jazyper assemble within the Swedish fashion photographer’s studio. Captuered both in black and white and full color, the girls don Viard’s collection which was unveiled back in December on location within the northeastern British city of Manchester.

“Lulu Tenney is a great fit for Chanel,” commended couturefan.
Immediately sharing the same sentiments was lookatme, adding: “Lulu elevates anything she’s in. That’s what a real model does. She looks incredible here.”
“This campaign looks gorgeous! The vibrant colors next to the black and white is such a great idea and all the models look good,” chimed in WAVES.
Wolkfolk liked what they saw too, commenting: “Probably the best campaign under Viard. I always had a soft spot for Mikael Jansson. There is no fuss but he really knows how to make the products and the models look great. All three of them shine and I love the colors.”
“Absolutely love this, truly was love at first sight. The photography from Mikael Jansson is fabulous, love the use of color and black and white here. There’s an old-school Chanel vibe that I’m getting which I love too. Not to mention the casting… which is superb! Lulu Tenney feels like a breath of fresh air for Chanel,” voiced vogue28.
