You’ve no doubt become completely accustom to Miuccia Prada enlisting a whole bunch of it-girls and her muses for Miu Miu’s various different advertising campaigns. Recently, Mrs. Prada had Gigi Hadid reunite with Steven Meisel for the Miu Miu Matelassé handbag advertising campaign and called upon the likes of Emma Corrin and Cailee Spaeny for the Spring 2024 campaign offering. The unveiling of the Summer 2024 campaign sees the celebrated Italian designer welcome cool girls Jasmin Savoy Brown, Amelia Gray, Lexie Liu, Angel Haze, Emma Chamberlain and Rose Daniels as the face and embodiment of her eponymous fashion label. Photographed by Richard Kern and styled by Lotta Volkova, Miuccia’s ensemble cast pose amongst various domesticated interiors, all captured on location within New York City.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“If seasonal depression were a campaign,” mocked zoom.
“Did they pick up homeless women from the street?” asked a disapproving Alquimista.
“Does Lotta realize that the cynical ironically-ugly aesthetic from 2016 is dead in 2024? Only rich teenagers find this edgy. Everyone else is bored,” WinstonH20 exclaimed.
Ivano wasn’t buying it either, voicing: “Where is the life here? I don’t relate the typical Miu Miu girl with this attitude. So grim.”
“So boring,” sighed a majorly underwhelmed 90sFan.
